Every plan needs your own API key, with credits on it. Testers too.
Hush doesn't come with an AI model. You connect your own account from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or OpenRouter and add credits there. Your provider charges those credits for each answer, separately from your Hush plan. Hush walks you through adding credits and pasting your key the first time you open it.

What counts as an answer?
One copied snippet with Paste, or one screenshot with Cut. Both come out of the same monthly count, so you can split it any way you like: 2,000 on Plus could be 1,500 copies and 500 screenshots, or all of one. Unused answers don't roll over to next month.
What about the AI model?
Hush uses your own API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or OpenRouter, on every plan, Tester included. You add credits to that account, and your provider takes them as you get answers. If the credits run out, answers stop until you add more.
Can I switch or cancel?
Any time, in Hush: Settings, then Manage billing. A cancelled plan works until the end of the month you've paid for.
How do I get a tester code?
We give them to people testing Hush. Each code works once, for one account, and gives you 250 answers a month for free.
